VISION – Jennifer Ledbetter created Caregivers Wellness Foundation as a way to serve my community by providing recipients with holistic, complementary and integrative health practices for an enriching and unique experience of health and wellness. My desire is to offer an experience that will create a positive mindset and understanding of holistic practices which encompass all aspects of our physical, mental, emotional and spiritual selves as one learns to:
- Connect with the messages of their four lower bodies
- integrate that wisdom for health and wellness and
- release energy that no longer serves
Through various approaches including breath work, guided meditations, reiki and mind/body connection, you become an active participant in the transformation of your quality of life. With compassionate support and guidance, you will learn to listen to the messages your body holds and how to integrate its wisdom into your daily life.
One of my favorite holistic approaches is Reiki; the Japanese art of moving Universal Life Force energy (the very stuff we are made of) through our four lower bodies (physical, emotional. mental and memory). Reiki helps us:
- reconnect to what brings our life meaning and pleasure
- own responsibility for and strengthen our state of mental, emotional, physical and spiritual health
- ultimately engage in a rich and meaningful life of quality and purpose
Reiki brings deep relaxation into body, mind and spirit for a renewed sense of well-being. Rather than be dependent on a practitioner I offer to teach and attune recipients to the cosmic energy of Reiki for self care and care of others.
Reiki addresses tight muscles. Tight muscles hurt, compress joints and trap nerves. People commonly confuse the resulting pain with the pain of the original injury, but it’s from the aftermath of injury: changes of muscular activity (postural reflexes). Then there are emotions and memories stored in our bodies that often result in energy blocks, tensions, and imbalances.
WELLNESS – Wellness is generally used to mean a healthy balance of emotions, mind, body and spirit that promotes an overall feeling and sense of well-being. It is the quality or state of being in good health and a philosophy of life that views health as not only the absence of illness but a satisfying realization of one’s full human potential.
Wellness is achieved through participation in purposeful occupation, education, self-awareness, and a commitment to oneself to consistent practice of those occupations, education and awareness to fulfill your desire for optimal wellness and a satisfying, meaningful quality of life.
MY INTENTION – Through body-mind-spirit-emotion awareness and with non-judgment, compassion and loving guidance, it is my intention to encourage, enable and empower people to manifest their desires, hopes, dreams and personal intentions through increased self-awareness using various methods.
Realize life satisfaction and improved quality of life experiences through your commitment to whole-self care as you learn to explore, understand and integrate strategies and habits that will transform the way you care for yourself. It is only when we adequately care for ourselves–mind, body, emotion and spirit–that we can fully and compassionately care for those we love and live a full and meaningful life.
AVAILABILITY – I work by appointment through Caregivers Wellness Foundation where I provide a safe environment, a compassionate listening ear and a skill set that serves clients who are seeking a more meaningful productive life whether challenged by physical, mental, spiritual or emotional dysfunction, blocks or limitations. I have created Caregivers Wellness Foundation as a way to provide clients with holistic services and complementary and integrative practices for an enriching and unique experience to health and wellness. Empowering clients with the ability to accept responsibility for their own health and wellness is a practice from which I find great professional satisfaction.
